1.Coupling Type
1.DC coupling system type
The solar panel with storage battery directly connect the hybrid inverter,solar power via MPPT goes into battery storage,the AC grid power also goes into the battery storage via hybrid inverter,the energy is aggregated on DC side,the system is suitable for the incremental market of newly installed solar storage systems, and the equipment increase and decrease are more complex, but the system integration is high and the cost is relatively low.
2.AC coupling system type
Including Solar inverter and energy storage converter,the solar inverter transforms the DC solar power to AC outputs,the energy storage converter transforms the DC battery power to AC outputs for load,the energy is aggregated on AC side,it’s suitable for the stock market of installed solar systems, and the equipment connection is flexible and easy to increase or decrease.
2.On gird or off gird type
1.On grid system
PV and energy storage systems can be connected to the power grid and purchase electricity from the grid when the power is insufficient, which is suitable for areas with stable power systems and low electricity prices, which can store excess power generation and increase the proportion of self-consumption.
2.Off grid system
It’s suitable for areas without grid or areas where the grid is unstable and needs to be used spontaneously, using off grid energy storage converters, usually it’s with diesel generator interfaces, to supplement power when the battery power supply is insufficient at night.
3.On/off gird system all in one
It has on/off grid switching function,when blackout it goes to off grid mode,it’s suitable for the areas where not stable with gird,it has the working mode including load priority,grid priority,battery priority etc.
4.Mini grid system
It is composed of distributed power generation, load, energy storage system and control device, which can convert distributed energy into electrical energy on site and supply local load nearby, which can be connected to the external power grid or operated in isolation, so as to realize the complementarity of multiple energy sources and improve energy utilization.
3.Products form type
1.All in one system
Integrated the solar inverter and battery and controller into a whole product,reducing the installation work,but difficult to maintain and not flexible.
2.Separated system
Install battery and inverter separately,users can chose proper Inverter or battery capacity for their detailed demand,flexible and easy to maintain,but more installation work.
